Overview: We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has worked with international clients and has a deep understanding of the accounting and tax requirements of GCC countries. This role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between client needs and our technical solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction:
- Liaise with international clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and processes.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications for the Odoo ERP system.
- Provide in-depth expertise on the accounting and tax requirements of GCC countries.
- Ensure that Odoo configurations and customizations adhere to local regulations and best practices.
- Lead Odoo implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure that client requirements are met through development and customization.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential pitfalls, and devise solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare detailed requirements documents outlining the scope, objectives, and deliverables for each project.
- Develop comprehensive training materials to facilitate user adoption of the Odoo ERP system.
- Conduct training sessions for clients, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to utilize the system effectively.
- Work closely with the technical team during the development and testing phases.
- Provide insights and feedback on the usability and functionality of custom solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest features and functionalities in Odoo and related technologies.
- Provide recommendations on how clients can leverage new features for their benefit.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Proven experience with international clients.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and tax requirements for GCC countries.
- Well-versed in project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience in preparing detailed requirements documents and training materials.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and also independently when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
